As a rule of thumb for 100 guests we recommend for 100 guests, allow roughly 9m×24m for a wedding, including space for dancing and catering, 12m x 24m for 150 guests and 15m x 27m for 200. You would allow around 0.8sqm – 1sqm per guest for the reception space and 1.2sqm for the dining room.
We’ll help you choose the best possible size when we meet you. Our team will assess your event details, such as guest numbers, space available, and layout requirements, to recommend the ideal marquee size for your occasion.

Where there are no obstructions, we can usually find a way to position a marquee close to your home, including directly close to doors and patio doors. Alternatively, we can usually install a covered walkway between the space between your home and the marquee.
The lighting and heating systems we use use very little electricity and are usually powered via a cable from your home or nearby building.
However, if you’re planning to have music with a live band, DJ, or caterers that need ovens or other electric kitchen equipment, you may need a generator for the extra power needed. We’ll cover this during your site visit, where we’ll look at suitable power sources and see exactly what’s needed to make your event successful.

All of our marquees can include a pleated ivory lining. This will create an elegant and neutral setting for your event. We’re happy to recommend professional decorators who can help bring your vision to life if you need a more elaborate layout. However, in our experience, most brides and clients prefer to create a personal atmosphere themselves.
Most marquees can be set up in half a day to a full day depending on size and complexity. For larger or more elaborate structures, we may need additional time. Dismantling typically takes less time and is usually completed the day after your event, unless otherwise arranged.
